Following on from the success of last years Conquer The Tower we're back for what will now be our annual stair climb challenge. Reach new heights by racing to the top of London's impressive Broadgate Tower to support young adults with cancer.

What's Involved:

How quickly can you, your colleagues or crew climb 35 floors with 877 steps, to a panoramic view of London? You or your team will race against others to be the quickest to the top!

We'll celebrate your achievement at the bottom by refuelling you with refreshments from our tasty brunch van and a fizz or two! If your muscles are in need of some love, you can visit our wellness pod to recharge.

On registration you'll receive a Trekstock vest, race chip, plus fundraising pack full of useful tips and expert advice

How much does it cost to enter?

Individuals: £25 
Teams of 5: £100

What is the minimum sponsorship requirement?

Individuals: £150 min sponsorship
Teams of 5: £750 min sponsorship.

Is my registration fee refundable?

Your registration fee is only refundable if the event is cancelled.

Is the Stair Climb open to everyone?

The event is open to everyone over the age of 18.

How high is The Broadgate Tower?

The Broadgate Tower is 541ft tall, 35 floors, 877 steps which is the equivalent of 3 times the height of Nelosn’s Column

How long will the climb take me?

The average time is around 8-10 minutes, however there is no time limit. 

Is the Stair Climb Chip Timed?

Yes, the event will be professionally chip timed.

When does registration open on the day?

Registration will be open from 9am, where you will be given race numbers and final instructions for the event.  Please arrive in plenty of time prior to your selected wave start.

What are the health benefits of Stair Climbing?

Stair Climbing is classed as a vigorous physical activity and burns more calories per minute than jogging and can lead to improved CV fitness, a stronger musculoskeletal system, reduced risk of heart disease and promotion of weight loss and muscle tone. Will there be medical supervision?

First aiders will be present at the event as well as marshals at regular intervals on the stairs for your safety.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring your race confirmation.

What do I need to wear?

Running kit will be perfect.

Will there be refreshments?

Yes, refreshments will be available on the day.

Are there changing facilities & showers?

There are toilets and facilities to get changed, but no showers.

Can spectators come along?

Friends and family are welcome to come along and support you during the event.

Can I volunteer?

Is there parking?

There is no parking at the building, public transport is advised, with Liverpool Street being the closest tube.
