Event Date is Saturday 20th July 2019
Limited On The Day Entries Will Be Available

The Broadgate Tower Run Up is returning for its 4th edition and we at Total Motion are excited to announce that StepJockey will again partner with us on this year’s event.  StepJockey are transformers of workplace health, promoting the use of stairs in the workplace and we are looking forward to bringing their virtual challenges to life in a real-world competition.

As well as being open to competitors raising money for a charity of their choice as well as those who simply want to challenge themselves on the stairs, we welcome StepJockey’s corporate partners alongside some of the best stair climbers in the world as part of The Vertical World Circuit.  All of whom will be competing to tackle the 877 steps over 35 floors of Broadgate Tower in the heart of The City of London, some people will even be climbing multiple times.

At The Broadgate Tower Run Up 2018 we had over 300 participants, completing over 1,000 ascents of The Broadgate Tower.  In 2019 we are set to smash through those numbers at the UK's only stair climbing event in which competitors can compete for a charity of their choice or opt to enter directly..

In addition to the single climb options we will of course be back with the 1/4 Vertical Mile and Full Vertical Mile categories, hugely popular for those looking to super size their challenge.  In addition there will be a very special category for those real endurance junkies - Take on a single climb, 1/4 vertical mile and full vertical mile for the ultimate climb - 16 ascents!  There are only 10 places available for this challenge, but those lucky 10 will receive all 3 medals, and a special bonus gift too!  Are you bold enough for this one?

The beauty of The Broadgate Tower Run Up is that you get to choose who you raise money for, so if you have a charity that you wish to support then either click on their logo scrolling at the bottom of this page to contact them directly and find out about free and discounted places for fundraisers or select them at the point of registration and raise what you can. If your chosen charity does not appear, then please contact us .

Are you a charity looking to partner with us at The Broadgate Tower Run Up 2019?  We'd love to hear from you and discuss the best way to become an event partner and offer your supporters something a little bit different. There are is no obligation for you to commit to a minimum number of places, so you only pay for the places you need. Please contact us if you are a charity wishing to become a partner.

Kids Waves

Providing the fun and laughter will be our family waves were kids get the opportunity to climb the 35 floors of Broadgate Tower with their parents (or guardians).  A perfect opportunity to do something active and fulfilling together, perhaps raising money for your school's charity or a cause close to your family.

The fire fighters were a real focal point of The Broadgate Tower Run Up in 2018, and will be again this time round as we see close up how fit and determined they are.  Amazingly they were climbing in their kit, weighing up to 30kgs, and often climbing multiple times. Just wow!

As with TBTRU18 we will be offering free single climb race entry to anyone wishing to volunteer at The Broadgate Tower Run Up 2019.  You can register as a volunteer via the 'enter event' button.

Elite Race

After a hugely competitive wave in 2018 we look forward to welcoming back our international elite stair climbers to Broadgate Tower for 2019.  As well as experienced climbers we also offer high level athletes from all disciplines the opportunity to race in this wave.  Entries are limited, but applications will be considered on a case by case basis. Please contact us if you wish to apply to the elite wave.
